Warlters Road Residents Association
A Warm
Welcome
Welcome to the Warlters Road Residents Association website.
Warlters Road is a much-loved street in Holloway, N7. Our residents’ association exists to protect the character of the road, support our neighbours, and give a collective voice on local issues.
Ecology
& Wildlife
Wild garlic still grows here, a reminder of our woodland past.
Crows once nested in the mature tall trees, foxes played in our gardens, and today wood pigeons have taken their place, sometimes stripping the fruit from residents’ gardens!
Heritage &
Conservation
We are proud to live on the edge of the Hillmarton Conservation Area, with its historic housing, mature trees, and cultural landmarks, from the Armstrong Audio factory to the tram loop that once ran nearby.
Built c.1923–25, our interwar terraces blend late-Edwardian bay windows with a neo-Georgian rhythm, red brick, sash windows and low garden walls, giving Warlters Road its classic N7 look beside the Hillmarton Conservation Area.
Our
Priorities
Speaking up on planning and consultation matters with Islington Council.
Protecting residents’ parking and safety, especially for families and vulnerable neighbours.
Celebrating the community through history, ecology, and shared experiences.
Working closely with the official Neighbourhood Watch scheme to keep our street safe.
